As a branch lodge between Nakasendo and Hokkoku Highway, the Oiwake-juku is a lodging that flourished. Masugata's tea house is kept like the prototype at that time. There was a departed monument in the omission reserved from the time the system of participation interchange was implemented, and it was a signpost for the branch point between Nakasendo and Hokkoku Highway. Besides attendance, people of Zenkoji pilgrims were also crowded. The hitch-in lodging is at the beginning of two lodgings that follow, and since buildings are slightly left behind, the feeling of former roadside sources would be sensed.
