The Mitokusan-Sanbutsuji is a mountain temple with its precincts in Mitokusan, at an altitude of 900m (3,000ft), located in the center of Tottori prefecture. There are "Jizo-do" and "Nokyo-do" temples on the steep slopes, and "Nageire-do" renowned for its location precariously perched on the mountainside. These temples have been designated as the "most dangerous national treasure appreciation in Japan" by worshipers and tourists.
